| JKNPP seeks compensation | | | DODA, FEB 05 A large number of the Jammu and Kashmir Panthers Party workers assembled here and took out a procession in the town which after passing through the various streets culminated in the Seri Bazaar Bhaderwah where they organized a public meeting . Addressing the workers party provincial secretary Ch.Mohd Iqbal alleged that the state government is ignoring the demands of the farmers of the Athkar area whose land were acquired by the Bhaderwah University authorities. Iqbal said that when the authorities concerned occupy the land they assured the farmers that they will be given suitable compensation ,but this time is denying the demands .He warned the state government and the local administration not to play with the sentiments of the poor farmers and demanded job to one of the family member of the farmers in the campus and opening of Bed college at earliest .Ch Mohd Iqbal further demanded by the government to create the employment opportunities for the local youth and increase the salary of the VDC members ,RETs ,contractual lecturers and demanded regularization of the all Home Guards Those who were present on the occasion included Preetam Singh Distt-Secy, Dharam Singh, Nand Lal Bhagat, Neraj Kumar, Satwant Singh, Gerdari Lal Katoch and others.
