MLA demands transfer of powers to PRIs

Jammu, Aug 5 : MLA Raipura Domana Constituency Bharat Bhushan Bodhi addressed a public meeting here today at Gharota upper in which large number of supporters, panches, sarpaches and workers participated. While addressing the gathering Bharat Bhushan said that Govt. should give power to PRI without any delay as it is imperative to take democracy at grass root level.Expressing the follies of Power supply to people of the area. Water supply is also effected since last two months in kandi belt Seri Panditan, Dar Danocha, Kanger, Nadhoal Kaley. MLA asked the PDD authorities to take step to continue supply of power so that the drinking water supply does not effect. On the demand of road connectivity from Vidhayana Talab to Gharota village.
Bharat Bhushan ordered the PWD authorities to examine the demand and prepare the project report so that work could be taken in hand, at earliest. Elaborating the detail of development schemes in his constituency carried out by him.
Bharat Bhushan said that he is committed for over all development of his constituency and sought support from the people in taking his mission of overall development forward.
He said various road including Simbalwala to Tersha via Khadwal Mohalla Nadwal to Kalama, Derwan to Seri Panditan, Ghrota fagwari, Amb Chowk to Satorwan via Ghaink Village, Gumpul to Mamyal Brahmana are to be completed soon and make functional.
He further said that the Rs. 25 Lacs will be spent on electrification in this year. Among other who spoke in meeting were Sh. Narinder Singh, Balbir Singh, Subash Sharma, Ragubir Singh, Sham Lal Sharma, Rajdev Singh, Capt. K. L. Sharma, Asgar Ali, Shamsher Singh, Raj Roop Singh, Dalveer Singh, all sarpanches. The officer Uttar Kumar Sharma AEE PWD, Arora, AEE PHE, Sudan AEE PDD, S. Sukhdev Singh AE PHE, Sh. Kuldeep Singh, ZEO Bhalwal K. K. Bhatt Agricultural Office, S. Man Mohan Singh AEE irrigation Ranjan Canal, Raj Kumari, Retd ZEO.
