| State Govt fails to give basic amenities: Dar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
RAJOURI, Aug 5: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) today expressed grave concern over pathetic conditions of city roads, water logging system and unavailability of garbage dumping plant in district Rajouri, especially unscheduled power cuts, worst condition of main road leading to more miseries.
In a press statement issued by the party spokesman, Rajouri unit of PDP hold district level party workers meet at District Presidents Office Chamber Rajouri which was presided over by Abdul Qayoom Dar, District President. Other senior party leaders viz Choudhary Qamar Hussain, Zubair Shah, Maqsood Rahi, Tazeem Dar, Ashok Sharma besides other workers participated in it.
In the meeting various matters pertaining to the party and general public of the Rajouri came under serious discussion.
Speaking on the occasion Abdul Qayoom, Dar District President said that the Rajouri town has been converted into a garbage dumping ground as Municipal committee has miserably failed to identify the dumping site for proper disposal of garbage.
Dar has expressed that State Government has completely failed in providing basic amenities to people of Rajouri and expressed his grave concern over the pathetic condition of basic amenities in Rajouri town.
He said that PDP would launch protest demonstration to highlight the sufferings of people.
Meanwhile, senior PDP leader Ch Qamuar Hussain lambasted the State Govt for ignoring Rajouri and said that it is the biggest failure of government who is not capable to mitigate the problem of people. |
