| Vaishno Devi yatra resumes | | | early times report
Jammu, Aug 5: The Vaishno Devi yatra, which was suspended apprehending landslides due to heavy rains, was resumed this morning from both the tracks, a police official here said.
"The yatra was suspended late last night from new track, which is much prone to landslides and shooting stones," a senior police official said. He said apprehending landslides and to avoid any untoward incident, the pilgrimage was suspended from the new track, which resumed early this morning. "The rains are continuing and the pilgrims are advised to be careful and alert en route 13-km-long track," he added. |
