Senior police officers recreate scene of crime, breakthrough expected | | | Early Times Report KISHTWAR, Aug 5: In a much publicized 2009 murder case of Chowkidar Prem Nath of Sangna Kuntwara village in Kishtwar District, senior police officers including SSP Kishtwar Bhim Sen Tutti, Additional SP Kishtwar Kulbir Singh, Dy SP HQ Kishtwar Abrar Chowdhary and SHO Kishtwar Mushtaq Ahmed today rushed to Kuntwara village after travelling for about 7 hours on foot to recreate the scene of crime. Kishtwar police after lapse of nearly two and half years, some two weeks ago constituted the Special Investigation Team (SIT) headed by Dy SP HQ Kishtwar Abrar Chowdhary to probe the murder of the Chowkidar. After taking over the probe, the SIT is presently working on some leads emerging during the questioning of two people which finally lands the senior police officers of the District in village Kuntwara. Chowkidar Prem Nath went missing during the intervening night of November 16 and 17, 2009 and his dead body was later recovered nearly after 4 months from the bank of river Chenab near Thathri. Police sources said that Kishtwar police is hopeful to crack the murder mystery in coming days.The sources said that though the case is very complicated but said that police investigation is heading towards right direction. |
