| Pathania demands recruitment drive in Ramnagar, Majalta | | | Early Times Report
RAMNAGAR, Aug 5: General Secretary, Pradesh Youth Congress (PYC), R S Pathania has sought recruitment drives for Ramnagar and Majalta tehsils.
While addressing the monthly meeting of his supporters at Ramnagar, Pathania said that recruitment drives have been carried out in Udhampur Tehsil and other economically better-off tehsils. But despite repeated requests made by the people and the increasing rate of unemployment and poverty in Ramnagar and Majalta tehsils, recruitment drive has not been carried out here.
He said that Ramnagar has been bearing the brunt of perverse political leadership, under-development and misgovernance. It has been a common case in every village that villagers are suffering for want of adequate proper drinking water, electricity, road connectivity, health care, animal-care, recreational, educational and other facilities. PYC leader also said that due to administrative neglect and lack of proper political leadership, the area has not been able to assert and flourish properly despite the availability of best of potential available here. Pathania alleged that according to information sought through a score of RTI queries it has come to fore that R & B Department is executing NABARD funded and state sector projects without calling of tenders and allotting works on departmental basis, in utter violation of Financial Code, in order to please blue-eyed favourites of the local MLA. |
