| Ex-MLA Piyara Singh's son consumes poison, serious | | | early times report
JammU, July 5: Ex-MLA and senior BJP leader Choudhary Piyara Singh's son today tried to end his life by consuming poison at his Trikuta Nagar residence here.
Police said Piyara's son Vikram Singh Randhawa made an abortive bid on his life by consuming poison at hisTrikuta Nagar residence.
He was rushed to GMCH where doctors washed his stomach. His treatment was in progress.
The reason behind the incident was yet to be ascertained by police. Trikuta Nagar police has registered a case in this connection. Meanwhile, Sonu Kumar, son of Trilok Raj of Chakroyiaan, who had consumed poison some days back at his residence and was undergoing treatment at the GMCH, died today.
The body was handed over his family for last rites after post-mortem. |
