| Prof Ishar releases Pinka Bali's Bhajan Video CD | | | early times report
Jammu, Aug 6 : Prof Mohan Paul Singh Ishar, Vice-chancellor, University of Jammu released a Video CD of Popular Classic Singer Pinka Bali ( Bindya) at simple but impressive function here today. Trained in Indian Classical Muisic and Arts, Bindya is an Almunus of the Institute of Music and Fine Arts, University of Jammu.
The VCD titled Chandi Stuti, is a collection of Hymns and Aarti sung in praise of revered Machail Mata .Music for the album has been composed by prominent musician and state awardee Prof B.S Bali while the music has been arranged by noted musician and Composer Surinder Manhas and suraj Singh. Speaking on the occasion Prof Ishar compl-imented the young singer on the release of her maiden album and hope that many people in the city of temples even outside the state shall be blessed by the Bhajans sung by Pinka Bali in the album. Earlier the young singer was felicitated by the Vice-chancellor for her contribution to the classic music . |
