| Kamaal says BJP created PDP | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 6 : Launching yet another attack on the PDP, National Conference additional general secretary, Dr Mustafa kamala today said it (PDP) was a creation of BJP. Kamaal was accompanied by Provincial President J&K National Conference Jammu province Rattan Lal Gupta attended a workers' convention of Raipur Domana Assembly constituency of Block Balwal at Baran.
In his address Kamaal expressed desire to see close rapport between the people and the party leadership and that party despite all odds is committed to solve their problems. He said that no party in J&K can compare with the National Conference track record of selfless service to the people and dedicating itself to the welfare of the people and safeguarding their rights. Apart from this National Conference will continue to uphold the cherished traditions of secularism, Amity and social harmony which were so dear to the founding father of present J&K state Sher-e-Kashmir and will leave no stone unturned to safeguard it against the machination of communal forces be it the BJP in Jammu or PDP in Kashmir.
Responding to the criticism of the PDP party Dr. Kamaal said the PDP was the creation of BJP and AFSPA was the creation of Mufti Mohammad Sayed when he was union Home Minister and Task force the product of AFSPA General Public is at the receiving end of both these creations of Mufti. People who know about sex scandal, forest scam, Amarnath land row, corruption that took place in his brief government from 2002 -2005 will always keep away from him and his party. This period was the worst period of misgovernance be remembered as the darkest period post 1947 in the history of J&K. He termed the PDP as a bunch of Thugs and liars.
Rattan Lal Gupta in his address said that Dr. Omar Abdullah lead coalition government has made many land mark achievements and we should support it all levels. Thanks to present National Conference government J&K is witnessing second year running of peace and normal activities and have seen good earnings from tourist flow after over two decades .People are yearning for lasting peace and it is our collective duty to ensure it by keeping divisive and communal forces and the separatists at Bay . He directed the Block President KD Singh Jamwal to collect the demands raised in the public meeting and bring them to party Headquater Sher -I - Kashmir Bhawan for redressal by the concerned in the government Shri. Satpal Lakhotra said government should ensure visits by Ministers and officers to this area so that problems are addressed on spot. He requested for Ranjan Lift irrigation scheme to be made fully functional vacancies of line -men be filled up so that electric distribution is given timely attention. The convention was orgainsed by Balwant Singh District President Kissan cell and K.D Singh Jamwal Block President National Conference of this block . Apart from large number of people those who attended this convection include Satpal Lakhotra Ex -MLA ,Arshad Choudhary, Ranjit Singh Manhas , Ashok Singh Manhas , Subhash Bhagat , Noor Ali , Naseeb Singh of the BJP who joined National Conference on this occasion , Jagdish Singh , Dhaneter Singh Sarpanch , Kuldeep Kour , Balwant Singh , Mohd.
