| Plantation Drive held at G.L.D.M Govt. Degree College Hiranagar | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 7: Sarus Nature Club of G. L. D. M. Degree College Hiranagar organised special plantation drive in the college campus in collaboration with WWF India under National Environment Awareness Campaign. Dr. Ram Krishan Principal of the college inaugurated the plantation drive by planting the primitive angiospermic plant "Magnolia grandiflora". The students of the college planted saplings of various plants like Zamia Species, Euphorbia species, Cycas Species, Aloevera etc. in the Botanical Garden. Prof. Vijay Chandan HOD Botany and Prof. Deepshikha Sharma Convener of the Nature club coordinated the whole plantation drive. All the Staff members also took part in the plantation drive. |
