| Absconder arrested, Nips recovered | | | KATHUA, Aug 8 : Police Party of Police Station Lakhanpur arrested one absconder namely Makhan Din of Bari Brahmana.
Makhan was wanted in wanted in Case FIR No. 68/2008 U/S 188 RPC registered at Police Station Lakhanpur from Rajbagh area against whom warrants u/s 512 Cr.PC were issued by District Mobile Magistrate Kathua on February 11, 2012. In another development, a police party of P/S Basholi laid down a Naka at Zero Morh near petrol Pump Basholi and apprehended one person namely Isher Dass @ Ishru who was on way from Basholi to Zero Morh on foot.
During personal search of the said person, Police recovered 40 Nips (250 ML) of JK Excise Liquor from his possession. A case FIR No. 55/2012 U/S 48(a) Ex- Act stands registered at P/S Basholi against the arrested accused. |
