Menace of child labour increasing day by day: NPSU | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 8: National Panthers Students Union (NPSU) has taken serious note of the non-implementation of Child Rights' Act on the ground level and criticized the State as well Center government for befooling the people of the country. Addressing a press conference here today at party head office, state president NPSU Partap Singh Jamwal said that acts like Child Rights are enacted for the betterment of the people but unfortunately those acts remain lying in the files and books. Jamwal further said that on the one hand our country is going to celebrate 65th Independence Day, but on the other the menace of child labour is increasing day by day. This menace of child labour is increasing day by day under the aegis of the minister of the present govt. as there are number of ministers, MLAs, MPs and other politicians and bureaucrats who have kept children, less than 18 years, at their respective residence who are compelled to work as labour. He said that these minors and their family are being lured by the VIPs in the name of jobs. Jamwal further said that Centre as well as State Government is spreading crores of rupees through NGOs but all is going in vain as NGOs are also misusing their funds and are doing nothing to eradicate the menace of the child labour. NPSU leader said that NPSU has decided to expose such leaders, Ministers, MLAs, MPs and other politicians and bureaucrats in coming days who are playing with the future of the innocent minors.
