| Petition challenging selection of Dental Assistants dismissed | | | | Jammu, Aug 8 (JNF) : In a petition, the petitioner challenging the selection of one Shashi Bushan as Dental Assistant in District Rajouri. According to the petition the private respondent who had failed to make the grade in Doda District. Justice JP Singh of J&K High Court Jammu Wing after hearing both the sides observed that The petitioner's only plea to question Shashi Bhushan's selection that the later was not entitled to consideration for selection in the district other than his own, cannot be entertained in view of the legal position settled by Supreme Court of India in Vinod Kumar Koul v. State of J&K & Ors decided on July 16, 2012 and The petitioner's challenge to the selection of respondent No.3 is, therefore, without merit, hence rejected. With these observations Court dismissed the petition. |
