Geelani's tele address to slain militants funeral
Accuses New Delhi of genocide of JK People

Kishtwar, Aug 8 : Hurriyat (G) chairman, Syed Ali Geelani seems determined to defy the government restrictions. He addressed the funeral of slain Hizb commander through the medium of telephone today.
Geelani with the help of his supporters addressed the gathering on mobile phone connected with loudspeaker and accused government of India of genocide of Jammu Kashmir people.
During his 19 minute hate speech, the senior police officers who were present on the spot listening to his address. Geelani in his address urged the people to remain united and stressed need for revolt against the` Indian occupation' in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that over one lac people are buried in different graveyards of Jammu and Kashmir and hoped that they will fight for the cause of self determination of Kashmir till last breath. He told the people not to dampen their spirits and assured them that the day will come soon when Jammu and Kashmir will attain independence. He said that the fight against the Indian occupation in Jammu and Kashmir will remain continue till last army man remains in the state. He added that they will never talk with any one until and unless Indian government demilitarized the Jammu and Kashmir. He said that sacrifice of people like Amir Kamal will yield good result in days to come and term him as a freedom fighter who laid down his life for the Kashmir cause. The fresh salvo of Gelani against union of India helps the anti Indian agencies in Jammu and Kashmir to find its place in public domain and to gain the sympathies of common people to keep its anti Indian agenda alive. Meanwhile Kishtwar police register FIR NO: 209 at police station Kishtwar under relevant section of unlawful activists and anti national act against unidentified persons for raising Pro-Azadi and anti Indian slogans during funeral procession of slain Hizb Commander Amir Ali Kamal who was laid to rest at martyr graveyard in Kishtwar. Even though FIR was registered by Kishtwar police, but no arrest has been made so far. There is no confirmation from police weather Kishtwar police will initiate any action against Gelani for his hate speech on telephone.
