Various educational institutions celebrate Shri Krishna Janamashtmi

jammu, Aug 9: Various educational institutions today celebrated Shri Krishna Janamashtmi here today with great religious enthusiasm and traditional fervour. Students, parents and school faculty participated on these occasion and took part actively in various activities organized as a part of the celebrations
IPS -kidzee Kathua today celebrated the auspicious occasion of Shree Janamashtmi in school with the motto to create awareness among students about lord Shri Krishna.
Mrs Ritu Sharma was present as the special guest while Mili Sumbria Principal IPS Kidzee Kathua shared dais with special guest on this occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Mili Sumbria told students that the birth of Lord Krishna is celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm and gaiety all over the country. Romy Kumar carried out the events enhancing a pious and rhythmic atmosphere The tiny tots from play group to Senior KG came dressed in colourful and vibrant get ups of Krishna, Radha, and etc
On this occasion Mrs Saher Touseef Councellor stated that it is these occasions that bound and strengthen the warmth amongst one and all and reinstalls our faith in the Almighty.
Yet in a similar occasion Supertech Kids Valley, an International Playway School, Talab Tillo; Jammu celebrated Janamashtami with great joy and fervor. Students attired as Radha, Krishna, Sudama and Gopies entered the premises School.
Students were given information about the Krishna's life and his thoughts, which gave concept of Holy book Gita. Special "Matkiee (earthen pot)" was prepared which was later broken by "Kanha" and his friends. Mrs Meenakshi Gupta ( Principal) lauded the thrilling performances made by the liitle kids on this Occasion.
Meanwhile Junior Wing of KC Public School to mark the occasion organized a special day buy inviting parents to take part in the 'kite flying competition' specially arranged for them on the occasion.
The students of Junior School first of all welcomed their parents and then presented a short cultural programme for their entertainment. After the formal function, the frenzy and excitement of kite flying competition started on the main sports ground where the kite flying contest was held.
The festive ambience on the school campus lasted for nearly two hours until the competition was declared formally closed and awards presented to some fathers judged to be the best kite-fliers on the occasion.
Shri Krishna Janamashtami was also celebrated at Dr Aparna Kids Kingdom which is also known as Stephens International Public School (Dr Aparna Kids Kingdom). Tiny toddlers dressed aptly to the occasion spread the festive spree of Janamashtami. "Makhan-Handi" was the most enjoyable moment of the day. Fancy dress competition was also organized in which students dressed as Meera, Krishna and Radha were adjudged by a panel of judges.
The endeavour was greatly appreciated by the Principal Mrs. Satvinder Saini and the Vice Principal Mrs. Rama Jamwal.
In another similar occasion S D Tara Puri Public High School, Gandhi Nagar celebrated 'Janam Ashtami in school with great zeal and enthusiasm. Children from different classes presented cultural programmes in a beautiful way.
Principal Miss Neeru Puri delivered a speech thereby explaining the children the importance of the day. Secretary Ram Lal Sharma presided over the function.
Students of Banyan International School, Jammu also celebrated the Shri Krishna Janamashtmi in school during the celebration organized in school.
The programme was organized separately by Junior and Senior wings while the toddlers of the primary section put up a spectacular show which was a display of their budding talent. The children from KG then enacted a spellbinding skit on the birth of Krishna. A cultural programme was presented by the Akansha House.
The Principal commended the students for presenting the show and urged them to be honest and just as good always prevails.
The tiny scholars of junior and middle school wings of KC Gurukul School performed aptly to the auspicious Shri Krishna Janamashtmi with a gaiety and enthusiasm.
Dressed as Lord Krishna as well as Radha the tiny tots of school kept the audience enthralled. Mrs Sanjita Mahajan, the Chairperson of the school applauded the efforts of students and teachers as well. Arvind Mahajan, Chairman of KCGPSP and Mrs Vijay Puri, Academic Director have sent their Janamashtmi Greetings to all the scholars through Dr BR Dogra
The Dogra Higher Secondary School Shastri Nagar, Jammu also celebrated the Shri Krishana Janamasthmi, with religious fervor and gaiety and organized an impressive cultural programme in the school premises. The children of nursery, KG and 1st classes presented themselves in colourful dresses depicting the various poses of lord Krishana.
A small tableaux depicting the life of lord Krishana was also presented by the students Principal Gambhir Dev Singh Charak and Vice Principal Mrs Nirmala Koul threw light on the life of Lord Krishana.
Bachpan (playway) wing of Tiny Scholars Sr Sec School at Jawahar Nagar Kathua celebrated the occasion with fervor and gaiety. Children from Nursery to UKG enacted popular episodes from the childhood of Krishna during a special assembly to commemorate the occasion. Students also performed Dandia Dance on the occasion.
On this occasion, Principal Smt Manisha Gupta extended her best wishes and greetings to the parents, staff members and students of the school.
