NIA to produce death certificate of slain HM commander in Delhi court | 'Nothing conclusive about whereabouts of Junaid' | | Asif Iqbal Naik KISHTWAR, Aug 9: National Investigating Agency (NIA) probing last year September 7 blast outside Delhi High Court will submit the death certificate of slain Hizb commander Amir Ali Kamal alias Akram killed in Dachhan area of Kishtwar district on Tuesday (August 7, 2012). According to the reports NIA has asked the Kishtwar police and administration to provide them the copy of death certificate of Amir Ali Kamal so that the same could be submitted in the NIA special court in Delhi where the trial of the Delhi High Court blast is going on for last 11 months. As per the NIA chargesheet submitted before the special court, Amir Ali Kamal is accused in FIR No:- 49/2012 registered with special cell Delhi Police in connection with Delhi High Court blast case along with Shakir Hussain Sheikh alias Chota Hafiz and Juniad Akram Malik. Death certificate of Amir Kamal is vital for NIA to put an end to the legal precedings against Amir Ali Kamal. Meanwhile, team of Doda police and Army along with Sajjad Ahmed Mir alias Rizwan reportedly rushed to Marwah area of Kishtwar district where the absconding HM militants were presently hiding. The reports said that NIA, Doda police and Kishtwar police is quizzing Rizwan about the whereabouts of Chota Hafiz, Junaid Akram Malik and Saleem alias Shamsher Kanna. "We are verifying the reports pertaining to the killing of Juniad Akram Malik and Saleem reportedly killed in group clash some 6-7 months ago, but as of now nothing is conclusive and we are not in a position to say anything about them till we fully get satisfied weather they have been killed or both are still alive" said a senior police officer pleading anonymity. He said that it is not easy for the police and other agencies presently questioning Rizwan to trust his statement till they (investigating agencies) get something conclusive about Juniad and Saleem. Police sources said that they were verifying the reports on ground before they reach any conclusion. The police sources said that though no direct link of Rizwan with Delhi high Court blast has been established so far, but said that he (Rizwan) is a vital link for the investigating agencies in the case. |
