| Man kills youth, honour killing suspected | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 10 : In a suspected case of honour killing, a man was arrested on Friday for allegedly murdering his son in law, police said."A youth was murdered at his residence here in village Sadeem, Reasi by his father in law and others today.
"After committing murder the accused kidnapped the wife of the deceased. However, police claimed to have arrested the accused father of the girl identified as Mohd Rafiq while manhunt was on to arrest the rest absconding accused and the abducted girl."Police sources said that Mohd Farooq son of Mohd Ismail fell in love with Ruksana daughter of Mohd Rafiq and in the month of April they got court marriage."Agitated over the decision of girl to marry without his consent her father alongwith his accomplice today barged into the house of his son in law and allegedly murdered him, sources said. They added after killing the boy they abducted the girl and fled from the spot, sources said.They added a case in this connection stands registered at Police Station Pouni under sections 307, 458, 366, 147, 148, 302 RPC and further investigations into the incident are on. |
