| Congress committed to empower Panchayats :Madan | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 12 : Madan Lal Sharma Hon'ble MP Jammu-Poonch constituency accompanied by all Distt. /Sectoral Officers visited Block Khour at Kaleeth ,Sharma announces Rs.10.00 lacs for construction of additional examination hall of the existing High School and directed the ACD Jammu for channelizing the work of the talab under MGNREGA and its completion on priority. At Chamarki Hon'ble MP inaugurates the footsteps constructed from Chamarki to Raja Mandlik Dev Sathan at the tune of Rs. 3.73 lacs. Under MP LADS fund . While addressing a large gathered public meet at Chamarki , Sharma said that Congress is committed to empower the Panchayats under 73/74 Amendment . We have mentioned in our election menfesto that Panchayats will be empowered on the pattern of other states.
He applead the State Govt. to take up the matter seriously . on the occasion , Sharma honoured Preeti Bandari for qualifying the IFS and creating an example through out the state and made us pround.
He inspected the developmental works also those undertaken through MP LADS fund and issue on spot instructions to the Officers. He disclosed that during his tenure he has provided works to the tune of Rs. 2.50 crores under MP LADS fund to the block.
He expressed satisfaction with the works completed under MP LADS and showed his anguish and displeasure over the works which are delayed due to various reasons .
He said he will not comprise with the quality of works and ask the public and panchayats to monitor the same . Kuldeep Raj Verma Vice Chairman OBC also spoken on the occasion. |
