Several Muslim youth join BJYM in Kashmir | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 12: Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) under its Yuva Jodo Abhiyaan, received a shot in the arm when over a dozen Muslim youth from Kashmir, joined the morcha under the leadership of Fayaz Ahmed, Ali Mohammed Wagay and Mohd. Abdullah Ganai. They were garlanded by BJYM State President Munish Sharma in a function held at party headquarters on Sunday. Welcoming the new entrants, Munish Sharma said that the joining of Muslim youth into the party fold is an indicator of a change in the mindset of the youth from valley who had been misled by Kashmir based political parties for petty vote politics. He said today lakhs of youth, who have achieved higher education, professional and technical degrees, are sitting idle at their homes in absence of job avenues in the state. If a few of them get some employment or work, what they get is even too less than what a labourer earns in a month. He said that a common youth from valley is also finding his future in dark and is looking towards BJP and its Yuva Morcha with high hopes. He appealed the youth not to get misled by the leaders of youth wing of Congress who have been trying to mislead the people saying that they will press the government to implement 73rd and 74th amendments. |
