| JKPCC condole Thakur’s demise | | ‘Thakur was a great legal luminary’, Peerzada | | Jammu Feb-05
Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee has expressed deep shock over the sad demise of D D Thakur, former Governor and ex-Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir.
In a condolence message, the PCC President Peerzada Mohammed Sayeed said that ‘ entire rank and file of the party is shocked over his demise’. Late Thakur was a ‘multifaceted personality, who played a great role in the society in different fields during his life time .He was a great legal luminary and his contribution towards the society cannot be forgotten for times to come’, he added.
The party leaders expressed sympathies with the bereaved family and his admirers.
