| Kaith Biradari holds functions at Domana, Langotian | | | Early Times report
JAMMU, Aug 12: Kaith Biradari of Jammu and Kashmir organized twin functions today one at Domana ( in Tehsil Jammu) and another at Langotian ( in Tehsil R.S.Pura) to mark the martyrdom of its tutelary Sankri Devta.At both the places, the Biradari members worshipped Sankri Devta with éclat sitting in unison on the floor. Biradari Executive R.L.Kaith told the Biradari members that Sankri Dev was a Raja of Kainthgali ( in Udhampur ) during the early sixteenth century.
Biradari chief Lt Col. (retd) Manohar Lal Kaith while addressing stressed for spread of literacy in the Biradari and called for unity, simplicity and discipline among the Biradari members. While Dr Ramesh Kumar Kaith urged the Biradari members to fight against all that polluted phenomenon with respect to the prevalent social evils which have resulted in weakening them and creating a sense of inferiority complex and inadequacy in them. On the occasion, Bhandara was also organized.
