Agency which has taken the contract of installing new computerized number plates is charging Rs. 150-200 from each vehicle owner other than the fee fixed by RTO office. They are not giving the receipt of this amount. In joint statement Hindustan Shiv Sena National President Dimpy Kohli expressed surprise over the extra amount being charged by the agency. We want to know where this extra amount goes. The subscribers have to wait for hours in long queues in still they are harassed. Further concerned agencies must explain why they are extracting extra money from public, where this account has been maintained. Most of the people especially drivers of commercial vehicles like matadors, three wheelers and army drivers are jumping the red light signals and ignoring traffic rules. |
