| Burglary case solved, stolen goods recovered | | | Jammu, Aug 13: Jammu Police worked out a burglary case by arresting a burglar and recovered three golden ornaments, one Television and two domestic gas cylinders. Police spokesperson said, "One Dilaber Singh S/o Harnam Singh R/o Hari Bihar Kunjwani on August 5, lodged a written report at PP Greater Kalash that some unknown burglars had done a burglary in the temple. "In this connection a case FIR No 85/2012 u/s 457/380/RPC had been registered at P/s Gangyal, police said.
Police added that during the course of investigation, Police arrested some suspected persons and one of them confessed that he had done the burglary along with his two associates which were also arrested by the Police on his discloser.
"On their discloser Police recovered the stolen items i.e. one mangal sutar, one nath, one tikka, one T.V and two gas cylinders from them, police said further adding, "they also confessed that they had committed some previous burglaries too."
The arrested burglar has been identified as Avtar Singh S/o Karnail Singh R/o Amritsar Punjab A/P Gorkha Nagar Jammu, Sunny Singh S/o Malkeet Singh R/o Gorkha Nagar Jammu and Sonu S/o Manohar Singh R/o Amritsar Punjab A/p Gorkha Nagar Jammu.
Further investigation of the case is going on to trace out his involvement in other cases of Burglaries. |
