| Threatening public functionaries routine for NC MLAs | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 13: MLA Mendhar Sardar Rafiq Hussain Khan today said that threatening public functionaries has become routine.
In a press statement issued here today, former Minister and MLA Mendhar Sardar Rafiq
Hussain Khan said that every worker of NC wants to become millionaire overnight. He alleged that in connivance with the local Patwari, some National Conference workers forcibly encroached a piece of land measuring 10 kanals in Mendhar town and got the same recorded in revenue records as their own. He added that land value at Mendhar town is more than Rs. 50 lakh per Kanal. It has been learned that the Tehsildar has been threatened to be eliminated from its job and obvious language has been used against him for doing a legal action. The Tehsildar has also informed a police to take necessary action. |
