CAPD challans 12 defaulters | | | JAMMU, AUGUST 14-To check quality and rates of essential commodities on the eve of ongoing month of Ramzan and ensuing Id-ul-Fitr, a team of officers and officials of CAPD Jammu headed by Assistant Director (Enforcement) CAPD Jammu conducted surprise market checking today in Jewel, BC Road, Gandhinagar and Railway Station areas and challaned 12 of defaulters for violation of Essential Commodities Act-1955. The team inspected dhabbas, fruit, vegetable, mutton and chicken shops. The defaulters who are using domestic LPG cylinders for commercial purpose and have not displayed the rate list were fined Rs.7800/-. |
