Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 17: BJP is sowing the seeds of discord in the state for their own political ends without realizing the ramifications and the impact that it is going to have on Jammu and Kashmir and its integrity, said Devender Singh Rana Political Advisor to the Chief Minister while addressing a public meeting at Manwal here today.
Rana said BJP is a divisive political force which is joining hands with other divisive and separatist elements to make a political conglomerate which will be an unholy alliance leading to political instability in the state.
He said BJP is deceiving people by denying its efforts to broken an alliance between the PDP and the Separatists because the senior BJP leader Shri Ram Jethmalani is on record having said that he was in Srinagar working for a PDP - Separatists alliance.
However, Rana said that such an alliance is welcome to face the next assembly elections together with the BJP because he has no doubt in his mind that the secular people of Jammu and Kashmir will reject them and teach them a lesson at the hustings.
Rana said BJP in the state is a rudderless ship with a confused leadership whose cadre is disgruntled, disillusioned and disheartened with the conduct of its leaders and is desperately looking for a political space outside the BJP because they see no future for the BJP in the state as also no future for themselves within the BJP. Castigating those political forces who are trying to hoodwink the people of the state by a misinformation campaign regarding the performance of the Omar Abdullah government, Rana said the last three and a half years of Omar's government's performance are historic and many a milestones have been achieved which were hitherto only existing as hollow promises.
The Political Advisor said the 2012 has been a year of peace and prosperity. "We are witnessing one of the most peaceful times that the state has witnessed during the last 22 years which is a tribute to the leadership of Omar Abdullah," he said.
Those who were present on the occasion included Rameshwar Dutt, Som Nath Khajuria, Sham Lal, Bharat Singh Sarpanch, Joginder Lal Sarpanch, Mohan Lal Sarpanch, Shiv Ram, Kapoor Singh Numbardar, Rajinder Saini, Bashir Ahmed, Kuldeep Raj, Balwan Singh,Capt.
