| Illegal structures: Deputation submits memorandum to ADC | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, Aug 18: A deputation led by Ankur Sharma submits memorandum to ADC Kathua regarding the issue of irregularities in the construction of Kathua to Hatli Morh road. In a written complaint was also filed against ADDC Ajay Singh Jamwal so that his role could be proved as he had threatened the complainant last time and had flatly refused to take any action when the complainant had approached him. The complaint also included the violation of municipal bye-laws by the installation of boards and defacing public property. The bridge over the canal crossing the college road has been painted and defaced by the commercial advertisement. Executive Officer Harbans Singh told that the boards are installed illegally as no permission has been sought in this respect but showed his helplessness in initiating any inquiry. Assuring the complainants, ADC Meena assured the complainants that proper action will be taken against anyone violating the law. He further went on to say that no one irrespective of his position will be spared. |
