| Chhari Mubarak departs from Bhaderwah | | | Early Times Report
DODA, Aug 18 : The historical Machail Padder Yatra today commenced from its base camp Temple situated at village Chenote in Bhaderwah which will culminate on 27th August.
Thousand of devotees from various parts of the state as well as from other of country assembled in the premises of the Chandi Mata Temple from where the holy yatra commenced for Machail Padder in District Kishtwar with chanting of Bhajans and religious sermons in a cavalcade of buses, Matadors, Sumo and Cars.
The yatra will cover 175 Kilometers of hilly track to reach holy shrine of goddess Chandi Machail Padder on 23th August 2012. After performing religious rites and seeking blessings of Goddess Chandi Mata, the yatra will start its return journey from Machail on 24th of August 2012.
The District Administration Doda and Kishtwar have made all arrangements of security, Medicare, Transportation and other amenities during the yatra. Local administration headed by the Additional Superintendent Police Roop Lal Bhagat, Tehsildar Sudarshan Kumar, Naib Tehsildar Masood Ahmed and other accorded a warm send off to the pilgrims. |
