| Inter-school U-19 boys' sports meet begins | | |

JAMMU, Aug 20: Organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), the inter-school under-19 boys' sports meet in different indoor and outdoor disciplines got underway here today.
However, in view of overnight rains, only two indoor events of judo and taekwondo could take place at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here. Competition in other events of football, hockey, basketball, cricket, tennis ball cricket and softball shall take place tomorrow at different venues.
Around 600 boys drawn from various educational institutions of the district are taking part in different event. Earlier, the competition was declared open by District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Jammu, Tirath Ram at MA Stadium, here.
