| "Sadbhavna week" begins at GDC, Bishnah | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 21: "Sabhavna Week" celebrations organized by NSS unit of Government Degree College, Bishnah commenced today. The programme has been organised under the guidance of Prof Archana Bakshi, Programme officer, NSS Unit of the college. Prof Kalpana Kesar, Principal of the College was chief guest on the occasion.
The proceedings of the programme were initiated with the administration of NSS pledge to 100 BSS Volunteers. Prof. Archana Bakshi briefed the students about the importance of National Service Scheme and its role in improving the societal scenario and serving the community while Prof Preeti Dogra presented motivational lecture to the students about NSS.
Principal of the college, while speaking on the occasion stressed upon the students to participate in these activities and encouraged them to use the platform for spreading message of peace and harmony in the society for establishing a stable & prosperous society. |
