| Lok Adalat settles 5 cases in Ramnagar | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Aug 21: A Lok Adalat cum Legal Awareness camp was held in the premises of Sub Judge Court, Ramnagar today under the chairmanship of Sub Judge Ramnagar, Sandeep Kour who was also the Chairman of Tehsil Legal Services Committee Ramnagar. While deliberating, the Chairman informed the participants about the rights of the people under the Legal Services Authority Act.
The people were also informed about the concept of Lok Adalat and how to get the cases referred in the Lok Adalat. Bar Members, litigants and large numbers of people participated in the Lok Adalat. During the Lok Adalat 11 cases were taken up out of which 5 cases were disposed off amicably through negotiations and reconciliation. |
