| JKSRTC awards outstanding employees | | | early times report
Jammu, Aug 21: With an aim to boost morale of employees of Jammu and Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation today, the corporation awarded12 employees with gold and silver medals besides cash prize for their outstanding services. The awardees were given medals alongwith cash prize of Rs 5000 and Rs 3000 each and citation certificates. The awards were given under Award scheme recently introduced by the JKSRTC. "Employees were awarded for their exceptional contribution towards the functioning of the corporation," JKSRTC Managing Director J S Tandon in his address said. He said similar function was also held in Srinagar last week in which various employees of corporation were honoured. He said due to the strenuous efforts of the employees of the JKSRTC, the corporation is able to clear all pending liabilities of the organisation like gratuity, leave salary and un-deposited provident fund of retired employees since 2002 and payment of 6th pay commission dues. |
