| Army celebrates Eid along LoC | | |

Poonch, Aug 21: Army celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr along the Line of Control in Poonch district with great pomp and show.
Ex-servicemen and local villagers along with prominent personalities of the area attended the function organized by 17 JAK LI.
Despite deployed in trying conditions and rugged terrain, army troops deployed in the area got together and organised the festival incorporating the local populace.
The Commander 93 Inf Bde wished Eid Mubarak to the troops and civilians attending the celebrations. He asked everyone present in gathering to pray for the nation's prosperity and communal Harmony. Commanding Officer 17 JAK LI also extended his greetings to all present at the gathering and their families on the auspicious occasion. |
