| Residents stage protest against erratic power supply | | |

Jammu, Aug 21: The activists of the Jammu West Assembly Movement and the hundreds of residents of Janipur Lakar Mandi under the leadership of Sunil Dimple In spite of heavy rains took out massive protest rally against erratic power supply in the city.
The protestors raised slogans against the Chief Minister who also holds charge of the Power Department. Sunil Dimple president Jammu west assembly movement demanded resignation from the sitting MLA and MP of the west assembly constituency alleging that they have failed to come up to the expectation of the people of the west assembly constituency. He alleged that the Omar Abdullah is making fake announcements of Allocation of Rs. 200 cr and additional power for Jammu region but nothing is visible on the ground and he is misleading the people by fake assurances. The prominent protestors included Ashok Pandoh, Ram Parkash, Sat Pal, Bitu Kumar, Ravi Dutta, Devinder Sharma, Raj Kumar, Romi Sharma, Bansi Lal Dogra Ramesh Chander Kohli, Kulwant Sharma, Vineet Kumar, Varun Sharma, Vipan, Mukesh, Arpan Sharma , Sushant, Vineet, Vivek Sharma, Kala Kumar and many other. |
