| Purse snatchers now strike in Channi Himmat | | |

Jammu, Aug 21: In a bizarre incident purse snatchers struck in Channi Himmat and fled freely after snatching purse of a woman on Tuesday afternoon, police said.
"The daylight robbery was reported in every busy chowk of Channi Himmat Sector 3 at Police Line Chowk, police said.
Police added the 32-year-old victim was on her way to home after shopping when two alleged suspects approached and snatched her purse containing Rs 12000 cash, according to police. The victim identified as Sunila Gupta wife of Kuldip Gupta of sector 3, Channi Himmat lodged complaint with the police in this connection, police said adding, "after registering a case in this regard the police has launched a manhunt to arrest the accused. |
