Pak violates ceasefire truce, 4-kg bomb recovered in Samba | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 21: Panic gripped the bordering Samba area when a four-kg bomb shell was recovered while Pakistani Rangers yet again violated ceasefire truce by firing small arms on forward Indian posts in separate incidents across Jammu region. 'Pakistani troops in yet another ceasefire violation this evening fired small arms on Stop-2 post in Arnia Sub-Sector of Ranbir Singh Pura,' reliable sources here told reporters. They said that BSF retaliated the unprovoked fire while no incident of injury or damage to any property was reported. Pakistan yesterday also opened small arms fire on Gharkal and Sdihra posts in Akhnoor sector while one intruder was killed in exchange of fire. However, in a separate incident a four-kg bomb shell was recovered by police in Samba district. 'The locals on seeing a suspicious object in a drain at Morga Morh informed the police,' sources said, adding that the Bomb Disposal Squad along with police officials rushed to the spot and recovered one-feet-long, four kg bomb with a PUM 51A mark. 'The rusted bomb was removed from the spot,' they added. |
