| After Pak flag, JKLF flag goes unnoticed in Kishtwar | | | Asif Iqbal Naik
KISHTWAR, Aug 21: A day after Pakistani flag hoisted over a foot bridge went un-noticed; today the JKLF flag also met the same fate.
The JKLF flag was hoisted by some unknown activist a few meters from Eidgah JKLF flag is the 3rd flag either hoisted or waved in Kishtwar on the occasion of Eid. Other than JKLF flag and Pakistani flag, lesser known organization Tahafuz-e-Khatmae Nabuwat, an international organization active against Israel/anti US interference in Islamic countries, particularly against luring Muslim community members in conversion to Christianity also waved the organizational flag in open.
The organization extended its base in Jammu and Kashmir only few months ago after the reports pertaining to forceful conversion of some Muslim community members to Christianity in Kashmir valley. Peace loving people of Kishtwar district termed the sequence of incidents as an attempt to harm harmony among the communities. |
