Exposed, nervous Pak resorts to firing
8/22/2012 12:06:12 AM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 21: The consistent firing by Pak along International Border and also at Line of Control (LoC) has exposed its nervousness after the detection of secret tunnel inside the Indian territory last month.
The firing along the border is aimed at deflecting media and world's attention from its heinous deeds. The expose-the detection of tunnel-which one again revealed the important thing that this country is still carrying out terrorism as its State policy despite being its victim and even after making public gesture that its fighting terrorism more so than another nation.
The firing which is violation of cease fire violation agreed to by two nations in 2003 was carefully crafted policy of not only shifting attention but a desperate measure to push in infiltrators by any means. The killing of intruder in Akhnoor sector is pointer to the fact.
The firing was bound to get response from the Indian and it did. There has been damage and causality across the border and this is being used by Pak to blame India and putting it in bad picture among its people and also in molding public opinion in the favour of State which could have in its absence pointed finger at Pakistan authorities for meddling in the affairs of a sovereign neighbouring nation.
The firing was also in consistent with the Pak state policy which had always questioned legality of even of International Border in Jammu and Kashmir. The firing was also aimed to bring to world focus the 'conflict' of this border in accordance with its policy of considering entire J&K as a dispute between two nations despite the fact the not only India even world powers consider J&K to be integral part of the country.
The Pakistan stand little to gain by its this ill-planned, ill-logical, miss-adventurism though it has only added to the worries to people living along borders especially at a times when harvesting is taking place.
