| Criminal Case registered against Director School Education, staff | | Alleged murderous assault on Sarpanch | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 21: In a complaint filed by Mohd Aslam Kohli Sarpanch of Panchayat Halqa Katar Kattal Tehsil Surankote District Poonch before the Court of Special Municipal Magistrate Jammu in which serious allegations of murderous assault abused and snatching mobile phone and Rs 5500 in cash, were raised.
Special Municipal Magistrate Jammu VS Bhou heard the complainant and forwarded the complaint to SHO P/S Domana to register FIR against Gulzar Ahmad Qureshi Director School Education Jammu, Madan Lal PA to Director School Education Jammu, Rakesh Kumar Clerk in personal section of Director School Education and PSO of Director School Education Jammu, as cognizable case is disclosed against them and investigate the matter expeditiously.
Court further ordered that SHO P/S Domana shall file Action Taken Report. On the direction Police registered a FIR NO 257/2012 u/s 364/365/342/352/382/506 RPC.
In the complaint it has been submitted that one Arif Master Middle School Katar Katal Incharge of the School was transferred in mid-sessions when the studies in the school are at peak. The said transfer order had been issued in-violation of Govt order dated December 7, 2011 issued by Commissioner/Secretary Education Department. On the request of the people of the area, the complainant on August 9, 2012 approached the Director School Education in his office and represented before him that a Single order was issued in violation of the Govt order which has caused great resentment in the area and also affected the studies of the children. Upon this Director School Education GA Qureshi lost his temper and with the help and association of his above named subordinates made murderous assault on the complainant and the papers from the applicant was snatched and thrown away and complainant was severely beaten and also heard abused and accused persons also snatched the mobile phone and Rs 5500 cash from the pocket of the complainant. Upon this Court directed the Police to register FIR. |
