| Cloudburst near LoC, five BSF Jawans Injured | | | early times report
SRINAGAR, Aug 22: A Border Security Post and eight residential houses were swept away and five BSF troopers were injured and one was missing in a cloudburst near the Line of Control in Gurez sector in north Kashmir's Bandipora district today.
The cloudburst occurred near Tulail, 140-km from here, in the wee hours washing away a BSF post and eight residential houses, officials said.
Five BSF jawans were rescued in an injured condition, they said adding a head constable was missing and efforts were on to trace him.
The cloudburst triggered a landslide but there was no report of any civilian casualty, the officials said.
