Sessions court defers hearing on bail plea of accused | Rape case of visually handicapped girl | | Asif Iqbal Naik Kishtwar, Aug 22: Principal District and Sessions Judge Kishtwar M.L Manhas today deferred the hearing of bail plea of four territorial army personnel of 159 BN allegedly involved in rape case of visually handicapped girl in Patimhala area of Kishtwar district in September last year, till 28 August 2012 . All the four TA personnel including main accused Sajjad Ahmed Mir with the help of his senior officers are avoiding arrest since last 11 months, despite Kishtwar police in a written official communication to army commandant of 159 BN demanded handing over the custody of all the four accused persons. After listening the arguments of defence council, sessions Judge Kishtwar deferred the decision by one week and reportedly sought the report pertaining to the case from police station Kishtwar. Meanwhile the rape victim also moved an application before Principal District and Session, Judge Kishtwar countering the bail plea of all the four accused persons and demanded justice from the court. |
