DSE breaks silence over alleged 'clash' incident | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 22: Director School of Education (DSE) G A Qureshi breaking the silence over alleged clash incident defended himself saying that he was being framed by some anti social elements. Underlining there is total transparency in education department, he said that some elements are not satisfied with the transparency and are always looking for the dark side only. Lamenting over bias reporting he said that had he been contacted, the real picture should have been projected over alleged assault incident. Referring to the incident reported in media section, DSE said that one Mohd Aslam Kohli, the Sarpanch of Halqa Katar Kattal visited his office few days ago demanding transfer of one Master Arif which was turned down by his PA. He added when he came to office there was clash between the two. 'I also intervened, but it was the visitor (Mohd Aslam Kohli) who first manhandled him, said DSE in a defending mood and further added, "on seeing his attitude, other staff also intervened." He further said SHO Domana police station was called up who took cognizance in this regard and took him to the police station and accordingly a case for assault was registered against the said Sarpanch. Later, the said Sarpanch in order to degrade him held a press conference and leveled serious allegations against him and also had gone to the court. On his plea, court ordered SHO to lodge case against the authority. Meanwhile, a senior police officer when contacted admitted of having registering of a case against the Sarpanch on the complaint of Director School Education and at the same time police also had registered a case on direction of court against Director School Education,he said, adding investigation has been initiated for further disposal. |
