| Ex Army man’s body found hanging from tree | | | Jammu | Feb 6
An Ex Army man’s body was found hanging from tree under mysterious circumstances near his house at Dehma area under the jurisdiction of Police Station Majalta in Udhampur District.
According to reports, this morning some locals of Dehma village spotted a body hanging from tree and immediately informed the police about the incident. On the receipt of information a police team rushed to spot and shifted the body to hospital for postmortem. He has been identified as Tara Chand, 80, son of Dattu Ram of Dehma. The deceased was an ex-Army man. A case in this regard has been registered at Police Station Majalta and further investigation was on to ascertain the reason behind his death.
Meanwhile, Pouni Police also recovered a body of a middle aged woman in mysterious condition at Ramsoo area and registered a case in this regard. She was identified as Sunila Choudhary of Mahrashtra. Police is investigating the matter to ascertain the reason behind his death.
