| Jan visits flood affected areas in Poonch | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 23: MLA Poonch Ajaz Ahmed Jan today conducted an extensive tour of the flood hit areas in his constituency which were badly affected by the recent flash floods in Poonch.
During his tour he inspected Mohalla Kamsar, Mohalla Khalsa, Aala Peer, Mohalla Radio Station Poonch, Mohalla Purani Poonch & Khori Nar Poonch where last night's flash floods casued heavy damages.
Jan directed EO Poonch and AEE PWD to clear all the landslides, choked nallahs and deep drains.
Jan also started on spot clearance of deep drains and lanes.
Later, he visited village Kuniya, Banch, Khanatere the link road to the largest village
of constituency which was virtually cut off in the recent flash floods and the link was restored in one day on the request made by the legislator to the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah. |
