| More Ammu recovered on 'disclosure of arrested' gangsters | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 23: City police recovered more arms and ammunition on the disclosure of the gangsters arrested a couple of days ago, police sources said. As per police sources, City police led by SHO Bishnesh Kumar, conducted a raid at the residence of one of accused gangster Balvinder Singh alias Bindu son of Shamsher Singh of Gurdaspur at present Vijay Nagar, Talab Tillo and recovered one country made pistol and five cartridges. "Their interrogation is in progress as trio was on six days police remand and more recoveries and arrests expected," sources said.
Pertinently, City police arrested three gangsters namely Mohitesh Sharma alias Munna son of Ved Prakash Sharma of Shakti Nagar, Binny Sotra son of Bal Krishan Sotra of Resham Ghar and Bindu from Kanji House, a couple of days ago and recovered one country made pistol, four cartridges and two sharp edged weapons from them. Police also had seized a motorcycle (JK02AV/7539) used by the criminals from them when they were found roaming under suspicious circumstances in the area. During interrogation they also admitted that they had come to kill their rival groups in the City. SSP Jammu Prabat Singh when contacted confirmed the reports and said that their sustained interrogation was in progress.
Meanwhile sources said that gangster Munna was wanted in seven other crime related cases which including murder and attempt to murder, while gangster Binny was wanted by Bakshi Nagar police for attempt to murder case |
