NC condemns unprovoked firing by Pak Rangers on IB | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 23: National Conference (NC) has condemned the firing on International Border and Line of Control by the Pakistani Rangers due to which the people of the area had to move to safer places. In a statement issued here today, Provincial President, Jammu Province NC, Rattan Lal Gupta said this unprovoked firing from cross the border has caused the damage to the precious lives and properties of the people and has forced the villagers to stay away from their fields and houses. Gupta said that this has become a routine feature from the past few months which has disturbed the life of the people who are residing near the borders. Though the administration has shown promptness to act immediately and have helped the people but the fare of the firing has created a panic among the people of the border areas. He appealed the government to take immediate measures to stop firing from cross the border and compensate the people who have been forced to leave their houses and are residing in safer areas. These people should be compensated on the pattern of Devipura (Khour area) by providing them safer shelters so that can manage their day to day affairs and look after their agricultural activities. |
