| Mula Ram demands relief for flood affected people | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 23: Former Minister and Senior Congress leader Mula Ram undertook tour of Raipur Domana Assembly segment and took stock of the problems faced by the people. Mula Ram said that many houses and crops got damaged due to heavy rains and the people have suffered huge loss. The roads, link roads, bunds etc have been damaged by rain and floods, he further said. He urged upon the government to assess the loss immediately and provide immediate relief to the sufferers. Besides, roads, link roads, drains, bunds should be repaired in the area on priority basis as the population is scattered in many hamlets and facing problems of road connectivity. |
