| All India Shiromani Mahajan Sabha constitutes body | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 24: All India Shiromani Mahajan Sabha has constituted its body for J&K Chapter for the next office term of two years.
The said committee is entrusted to look into the problems faced by the Mahajan community and to take up projects for the welfare of downtrodden community members and to promote harmony in the region.
The nominations of the office bearers were made by the Sabha's national president Dina Nath Mahajan, in a meeting held here today.
According to a press release, Mahesh Gupta has been nominated as president, Sham Langer as Vice president, Ram Langer as Secretary, Rajesh Gupta as Joint secretary, Rohit Jandial as Publicity secretary and Yash Pal Gupta as treasurer. The committee has been constituted for the tenure of two years.
Addressing on the occasion, Sabha's newly nominated president Mahesh Gupta expressed his gratitude to the national president for expressing his faith in him.
He said the new team would make their best efforts to sort out the problems being faced by Mahajan community and to promote communal amity and mutual brotherhood.
