| ADDC inspects development works | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, Aug 24 : Additional District Development Commissioner, Kathua, Ajay Jamwal, today conducted an extensive tour of Basohli Tehsil and inspected ongoing development works.
During the tour, the ADDC inspected construction works of Rural Development and Public Works departments and directed the executive agencies to ensure quality of works besides completing them in a time bound manner. He further asked the executive agencies to involve the Sarpanches of concerned areas for effective and need based execution of construction works.
Later, theADDC also chaired a meeting with the officers of identified 14 departments which come under the ambit of Panchayati Raj to make a close liaison with the elected representatives of panchayats.
Meanwhile, the ADDC also convened a meeting with the officers of PWD, PHE, PDD, Flood Control and Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution to take stock of measures being taken to tackle the situation arisen due to recent heavy rains in the area |
