| Jan announces Rs 5 lakh for flood affected areas | | | Early Times Report
POONCH, Aug 24: MLA Poonch Ajaz Ahmed Jan today completed an extensive tour of the flood hit areas in his constituency which were badly affected by the recent flash floods.
During his tour, MLA Jan inspected Poonch city where rains and flash floods played havoc.
Jan directed EO Poonch and AEE PWD to clear all the landslides, choked nallahs and deep drains.
MLA also kick started on the spot clearance of deep drains and lanes besides announcing Rs 5 lakh out of his Constituency Development Fund (CDF) which was kept at the disposal of EO Poonch.
The public of the area raised the issues of their concern before the MLA.
Jan listened to the grievances and disposed off most of them on the spot. MLA assured the public that he will work continuously for their welfare in future. |
